First Responders
The First Responders are a group of trained volunteers in the Milestone area. They are called out to the scene to provide medical help before the ambulance arrives.
Milestone Elks
Milestone Elks Hall provides kitchen and hall rental for occasions such as weddings, dances, drama productions, anniversaries and other functions. The Hall has chairs with round tables with a full kitchen offering a stove, an oven, several full size coolers cooler and all you need for your gathering. Contact Robert Moorhead at 436-4402. Milestone Elks support local groups with financial assistance and meet second Thursday of every month at 7PM.
Big Brother Big Sisters of Weyburn

Milestone Prairie Players
The Milestone Prairie Players is an award winning acting group that performs a Dinner Theatre production every year at the Milestone Elks Hall. The group is always looking for on-stage and backstage talent.

Milestone Dance Club
The Milestone Dance Club offers a variety of lessons including tap and jazz. Ballet classes are also offered for the younger kids. Dance club members attend a competition throughout the year and wrap up the dance season with a spectacular recital in May every year. For more information, contact Kara Wolfe @ 436-4336
Milestone Swimming Pool
TENTATIVE OPENING DAY IS JUNE 17 2012
Our swimming pool is open from mid June to the end of August. Swimming lessons are offered for all ages in 3 separate sessions throughout the summer. Public swimming is offered, along with a senior aqua-size, parent/tot swim and lap swim. Aqua-size is also offered for the seniors as well as the more advanced. Also available for Birthday parties. Each Swimming lesson session is followed by by a hot dog sale and fun day at the pool. For more information contact the Town Office @ 436-2130 off season, or the Pool @436-2244 during the summer season.
PUBLIC SWIMMING NOTICE
Currently the pool has a policy where children 7 and up are allowed to swim unattended. Please note that this policy is subject to the lifeguards' discretion. If they feel a child is not able to safely swim unattended a request will be made for a parent or guardian (over the age of 12) to accompany the child in the pool. Under no circumstances are children under the age of 7 to be in the pool unattended.
Board Members and Town Office employees are not able to take requests for lesson registrations. We will only be accepting requests for one session (per child) at a time. Additional session requests will be taken once the first session is complete and will be based on availability. All lesson fees are to be paid at the time of registration. If we have not received payment by the first day of lessons we will consider the registration void. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
AQUASIZES
SENIOR AQUASIZE SESSIONS: Monday and Thursday from 1:30-2:00 p.m. (please note on lesson weeks they will be held at 1:30 till 2:00). Senior Aquasizes will start Monday, July 5.
FASTER PACED SESSIONS: Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00-8:45 p.m. Faster Paced Aquasizes will start Tuesday, July 3.
PARENT/TOT SWIM
Held during Senior Aquasize sessions on Monday and Thursday. Please note change in times during lesson weeks.
LAP SWIM
Classes will be every Wednesday from 8:00-8:30 p.m. Classes will only continue if interest is shown. Lap swim will start Wednesday, July 4.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Held during public swimming hours, birthday parties include 30 minutes of games led by a lifeguard, goodie bags and all day swimming for participants. We appreciate one week's notice.
FUN DAYS
The Saturday of each set of lessons (July 21, July 28 and August 18) we will hold a BBQ lunch followed by games in the pools. Everyone is welcome. We encourage families in lessons to bring a dessert. Please note that report cards will not be handed out Saturday as there will still be lessons on Sunday.

REGISTRATION PROCESSWe will be holding a Registration Day on June 9, 2012 from 10:00 till 1:00. Please stop by or call the pool at 436-2244. Milestone Campground
We have a great campground with 13 campsites available. There are 5 fully serviced sites with sewer hookup and 8 unserviced sites that are available. We are open May Long weekend to Sept long weekend and located at the end of Railway Ave, right beside the pool and huge play park. Washroom and showers are available at those times. We are a first come first served campground and it is only $20 a night for electrical and $10 a night for non-electrical. So come on out and check us out!
